Q: why mcdonald’s?

A: we dont really know, but mcdonalds is really good

A: no, if you think we are, i feel terribly sorry that you can’t see that we very plainly ARE NOT racist. we feel that people of every race can AND SHOULD cosplay well. if your skin colour is not the same as the character you’re cosplaying, that should not inherently discourage you from cosplaying as that character.

Q: you are fatphobic!

A: no. just…. no. people of many different sizes can look good in a cosplay, IF the cosplay flatters their form, is tailored correctly, etc etc. it is the same as normal fashion - wear clothing that suits your build and accentuates your positive features.

Q: can you remove X picture for me?

A: yes we most certainly can! that is, if you are involved with/are the person in the picture. if the picture just offends you, then i apologize, but your attachment isn’t really solid enough for us to remove it. if that were the case, there would be no photos on this blog.

A: we didnt ignore you at all! we appreciate your compliments, and we read every single one we get, but we can’t respond to all of the ones that show up. we will respond to them on our formspring though, which is linked. anything that is not a new question or submission in our tumblr ask box will be deleted.

Q: do you cosplay? 

A: no, i (princess) do not cosplay. i dress in the lolita style - if you have any questions about that as well, i will do what i can to answer them.

skip does not cosplay either, but is very active in the fashion world and has experience with it.

Q: how will i know you if i see you at a con, princess?

A: you will know me because my badge will read “princess.” i will also probably be dressed in lolita. if i am attending a con, i will make a post about it.

A: yep! we will be compiling a list shortly.

Q: Why was the original omgpleasestopcosplaying shut down?

A: we were suspended because of copyright issues (l o l, hence the new disclaimer) and harassment. the second part is super funny bc we receivedthreats of death and bodily harm but we were the ones suspended for harassment

Q: Ever stop to think that you might be hurting these peoples feelings? cause i don’t think they’d be thrilled if they saw themselves on this blog.

A: people may not be thrilled, but that doesn’t seem to be any of our business.

if people want their cosplay to be taken down and can’t handle the fact that this blog does not only post bad/ridiculous/funny cosplays and posts advice as well, then that is up to them.

Q: why are you called omg/pleasestopcosplaying? do you want people to stop cosplaying?

A: nope! we LOVE cosplay, good and bad. true, the bad makes us cringe, and maybe cry blood in our showers after a long day of cleaning cheeto dust from our keyboards and filling the queue, but we still adore them. it’s called OMGPSC because it was a spur of the moment title by princess when it was first made. it stuck, and we don’t have plans of changing it. it’s how people know us now, so to change it would be kind of dumb and possibly counterproductive. we APPRECIATIVELY post joke cosplays and great ones!

Q: how much hate mail do you guys get?

A: a fair amount. we’ve gotten a lot of threats, but naturally we doubt people will follow through. it’s one of the things that makes running this blog amusing as fuck, though.
